Arsenal, one of England’s most historic football clubs, has left its mark on the UEFA Champions League not through trophies, but through heartbreak and near misses. Their most notable run came in 2006, when they reached the final against Barcelona, only to see their dreams crushed in a 2-1 defeat after Jens Lehmann’s early red card. Over the years, the Gunners have gifted fans unforgettable moments, like Thierry Henry’s masterclass at the Bernabéu and their famous win over AC Milan in 2008. Yet, despite all the talent and beautiful football, their Champions League cabinet remains as empty as Tottenham’s trophy case. Maybe one day they’ll break the curse, but until then, at least they have the "We almost won it in 2006" legacy to hold onto!
