Founded in 1924, Ismaily Sporting Club is one of Egypt’s most iconic teams, known for its attacking style and beautiful football, earning them the nickname “The Brazilians of Egypt.” They became the first Egyptian club outside Cairo to win the CAF Champions League in 1969, a historic achievement that inspired generations. With 3 Egyptian Premier League titles and 2 Egypt Cups, the Yellow Dragons have always been a force to be reckoned with. Their ultras, Ultras Yellow Dragons (UYD), are known for their unwavering support, keeping the club’s spirit alive even in difficult times. One of Ismaily’s most emotional moments came in 2002 when they reached the CAF Champions League final, coming so close to repeating their legendary 1969 triumph. Despite the ups and downs, Ismaily remains a symbol of passion, skill, and the underdog spirit, proving that greatness is not just about trophies but about the love of the game.
